    Gunslinger was an experimental prog band creating intense but free music. All the songs are relatively complex compositions but each time we would perform the songs, the emotion and approach was left open while holding to the strict song structure. For me, Gunslinger was the band that I could let loose and play as hard, loud and busy as I wanted, not always to success for the song. Brian Looney and I came together to write this music as a guitar, drums duo and toured grassroots style for 2 years as a duo, recording two albums. In 2009, we were joined by Dallas Skare on bass and toured our way to Asheville, NC to spend one day recording at Echo Mountain with Jeremy Ferguson engineering to create our final and most complete album.

    During my time with Gunslinger, I was also playing with Happy Birthday Amy and on one song per album, I would we would have Amy and Dillon from HBA guest on a song.
